As Richard and I come down from the highs of 14 April, I just want to pass on my huge and sincere thanks for the part you played on the day.  Words simply can't describe how much Richard enjoyed the Maserati experience and my Dad has not stopped talking about the spin you took him and my nephews on.  It seems the surprise worked better than I could have hoped so thank you so, so much.

We have just added cars in Manchester, Liverpool and Newcastle.  This now gives us capacity to cover the North of England, but at a cost, can cover weddings further South.

With all the major shows behind us, until 2011, we urge all prospective clients to come forward.  The shows are always a joy, but always sadness, with couples being turned away, as we have no cars available for their big day.

We cannot stress enough, our refundable deposit programme, which allows full refund up to three months after booking, no exceptions and beyond that in exceptional circumstances. We only take deposits by card, for our clients protection.

Once again, we had a busy year. Too many tales to tell, but once again our Maserati's have stood the wedding

car test.  The Maserati Quattroporte have been able to provide the extra glamour, that not many cars can 

aspire to.  Thank you cards keep pouring in, but have added a special one, just to illustrate what sort of

service our couples who have booked our cars, for what is a very important day.

We have used so many hankies this season, and that's just for the chauffeurs.  We take our responsibility so seriously, it almost

feels as though we are part of some the weddings.

Top Gear shown on BBC 2 - 11 July 2010, compared the three four door supercar models.  Maserati Quattroporte Sport, Porsche Panamera Turbo and the Aston Martin Rapide.  

Of the three cars, the Porsche with the biggest engine was the quickest in a straight line, with the Maserati and Aston Martin not much between them.  The Top Gear team used

a business park to try out the three cars, the Maserati had the best noise, has more internal space than the other two.

For the first time of British TV, a Maserati Quattroporte was shown as a wedding car.  In was an easy choice for the chauffeurs, as the Maserati has easily more rear room in

every direction.

As usual at the end of the programme, the Top Gear team were asked to pick their favourite, you guessed it, all three went for the Maserati.

All that matters is that you are comfortable and that, when you arrive, you are stepping out of one of the coolest cars ever made. Don’t believe me? Well, try saying this and see how it sounds: “Shall we take the Maserati tonight, darling?” Has a ring, doesn’t it?

My advice, then, is simple. If you want to drive yourself, then, sure, go for a Rapide or, if you are impervious to design abomination, a Panamera. But if you want to be driven, then the Maserati Quattroporte ticks all the boxes that matter. And several that don’t.

Quattroporte, remember, means four-door. This, then, is a car that does, quite literally, what it says on the tin.
